Miss Marvelous Milestone

Milestone Sessions don’t have to just be for babies or the first year or two of life, just look at Miss Marvelous Milestone. They can capture your child at any stage and at any age.  Milestones are fun sessions where I get to capture personality, skills, and activities that are important at that moment in life. 

This marvelous milestone client just turned 4 years old! I can’t believe she is four (and neither can her parents). She is so lively and expressive. Her mom just wanted to capture her child being happy and healthy. At this point in time, this little girl loves music.  She loves to dance. So, we captured her dancing in all different outfits. What little girl doesn’t love to twirl? (Ok, maybe all moms don’t let their kids twirl on chairs, but I promise you she was SAFE!)

As a mom myself, I have learned quite a few tricks over the years. I want to capture genuine smiles and laughter. So, when a kid has that mischievous look in her eye….you toss a lemon at her! Then we have a blast capturing the ensuing lemon battle. Another trick I have learned, LEGOs are awesome! However, I can honestly say that never before have I had a client notice the camera, take what is around her, and build a camera out of LEGOs, and take a picture of me! It’s these precious moments that I love to capture.  And, trust me, she is going to be one heck of an engineer!

Best of all, these precious moments are captured and there for years to share.  I hope this marvelous milestone client is a repeat offender in my studio.  I also hope she keeps being just as happy and expressive as she can be! I mean, just look at her feet.  She does so much with them and even they express her emotions.  To be honest, she kept this trend up in her family session as well!

This is an adorable part of life and deserves to be captured.  Don’t shy away from milestones as your kids grow and change. Each change deserves to be documented and displayed for years to come.  Who knows, maybe these pictures will drive her to become a dancer or an engineer one day.
