Time to pull out the pink blankets! Ribbons & bows! All things sweet and girly! I had a gorgeous baby girl in the studio for a newborn session and it was quite an effort to not go completely overboard on the pink and frills.
But I’m proud to report I showed some restraint, and I love how this sweet girl’s images came out. Her newborn session included a beautiful pallet of browns, creams, and (of course!) some pinks. She was as sweet and calm throughout her newborn session as she is beautiful. And just to be sure we showed her fiercer side, she also got to pose in a motorcycle helmet. Her dad has been riding since his college days, so there’s a good chance she’ll get to learn, too. So why not start the helmet fittings early? Having the right gear is important!
This lucky girl also has the world’s sweetest big brother, although like most little guys his age you have to be FAST to get a picture of him… he’s got things to do and places to be! He kept the energy up for this newborn session, and I’m sure he’ll keep life interesting for his little sister. And of course I’m sure she’ll return the favor, once she is old enough to stay awake more than a few hours at a time. Possibly sooner.
I’m so happy for this family to welcome another gorgeous, sweet-tempered baby, and looking forward to seeing more pictures of them as they grow! (Really interested… the last one involved baby girl sleeping with a helicopter perched on her head and a truck tucked in her arm. Her big brother shares already!)
