The Senior Portrait Experience

The culmination of your entire life’s worth of school years… you have reached an amazing milestone, and I’m so excited for you! Your senior portraits should make you realize just how beautiful you are, inside and out. Even better, you should have fun doing it!

This transition is such a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I want to capture who you are as a person, right now in this moment. My senior sessions are completely customized to you; your personality, your style, your preferences. So let’s get started and figure out who that is!

1. Design Consultation

I work with you to understand and define your vision for your senior session. With this information, I design the perfect session for you, including wardrobe, locations, accessories, and overall feel of your session. You will have an in-home wardrobe consultation to pick out outfits that fit your style and will flatter on camera. And a professional hair & makeup artist to make sure you look your most natural and camera ready on the day of your session. I’ll make sure you have all the information you need to prepare for your session so you can relax and enjoy it.

2. Your Session

If you can handle getting there with your wardrobe, I’ll handle the rest. I work hard to plan the perfect session, so I can keep it moving smoothly and make it fun. Do not worry about your hair & makeup, our professional HMUA will have you perfectly styled. Do not worry about posing, I have your back all the way and will guide you through the whole session. All you have to do is show up. And maybe be okay with getting a just a little bit silly here and there.

2. Your Images

For these sessions, my goal is capture images that show off your personality and interests. And since no one is one-dimensional, I like to capture a good variety of different looks, and different moods. I work to get both posed and candid images, across a variety of poses and locations. I capture documentary-style images of you in your element, as well as camera-aware images that will make you feel connected to that moment.

2. Your Reveal & Ordering

You’ll get to see your gallery of images at your Reveal & Ordering Session. I’ll be on hand to help you with picking the images that best meet your needs, and defining where you will use them. And because we will have worked closely to understand what makes you who you are, your images will capture the uniqueness that is you!
